Diploma in Supply Chain Management

About the Programme

To meet the growing importance of Singapore being the region’s logistics hub and supply chain nerve centre, the Diploma in Supply Chain Supply Management (DSCM) serves to equip you with in-depth understanding and broad-based knowledge on logistics and supply chain management. This, coupled with a specialized electives based on your interests, will help hone your skills and enhance your position in the logistics industry.

Diploma in Supply Chain Supply Management (DSCM) provides you with the necessary skills and practical knowledge in the areas of cold chain management, pharmaceutical and chemical supply chain and  retail logistics. The programme will focus on the integrated supply chain which is becoming more and more important today.

Programme Aims

The DSCM aims to groom knowledgeable and enterprising young professionals who will apply their skills to the demands of industry. You will be adept in the art of problem solving and remain effective learners in the ever-evolving arena of the logistics and supply chain management industries.

The programme will provide a well-rounded education comprising both technical know-how and general capabilities. Discipline and specialisation-specific modules will equip you with a solid understanding of engineering and business process flow, operations research, optimisation, and inventory management. The programme will also give you a strong grasp of logistics planning and control, facilities planning and design, warehousing and storage, IT in supply chain management and procurement and supplier development. General modules will ground you in innovation, creativity, entrepreneurship, as well as train you in communication and life-long learning skills.

Graduates from DSCM can look forward to contributing to the planning, implementing and managing the integrated supply chain functions ranging from purchasing to inventory management to transportation in the industry.
