Republic Polytechnic shines at The Singapore HR Awards 2010
Our Principal, Mr Yeo Li Pheow, is awarded the Leading CEO award. The award is presented to inspiring leaders whose leadership and commitment towards innovative and effective HR ideas and practices, has created significant contribution to the progress of HR in their organisation.
The Polytechnic is also honoured to be conferred the Corporate HR Award for the second consecutive year! The award is presented to organisations that have clearly demonstrated effective, creative and proactive HR and people management practices in at least 4 HR Leading Practices categories.

RP receives the Best Performer "Fitness" award
Republic Polytechnic was awarded the MINDEF Physical Fitness Performance Award (MPFPA) “Best Performer Award” 2009.
The latest recognition comes from its
on-going fitness program set up in 2009 to
strengthen final year students’ fitness,
especially male Singaporean students who will
enlist into National Service (NS). RP has put in
place a fitness program to prepare students to
be physically fit for NAPFA (National Physical
Fitness Award Scheme) test and NS.

RP receives the Green Office Label
We are proud to announce that RP has obtained the Green Office Label (2009-2011).
Our Senior Director (Student Services), Mr Ang Keng Loo, received the award on behalf of Republic Polytechnic (RP) from Dr Amy Khor. RP is the first educational institution to receive this award.
Awarded under Project Eco-Office (by the Singapore Environment Council), the Green Office Label reaffirms RP as an environmentally-friendly work place that is committed to good practices that minimize wastage of energy and resources.

Republic Polytechnic Wins Distinguished Home Team Partner Award 2009
This award serves to accord recognition to and celebrate the Home Team NSmen and their employers’ joint contributions towards National Service with the Home Team. The recipients of the award have shown unwavering support for their employees' National Service obligations.
This is the second time that RP has won this
award.

RP receives Work-Life Achiever Award 2008
The Work-Life Excellence and Achiever Awards are conferred by the Tripartite Committee on Work-Life Strategy (TriCom). The biennial Work-Life Excellence Award (WLE Award) recognizes employers who have successfully implemented effective strategies to help employees better manage their work goals and personal needs thereby enhancing corporate performance. The Work-Life Achiever Award is for organizations which may not have met the requirements for the Excellence Award but are nonetheless recognized for their exemplary work-life practices.

RP is certified for TR19
The Republic Polytechnic is the first educational institution in Singapore to be certified to the
TR19. The TR19 framework provided RP with a useful reference model to develop a robust
set of business continuity plans and strategies for it to continue to provide education to its
students during a crisis or disaster.
