Centre for Educational Development

Here at the Centre for Educational Development (CED) at RP, we play a supportive role in ensuring our staff are equipped with the most relevant and effective teaching practices so that our students can maximise their individual potential to learn and develop.

CED comprises a dedicated team of educators from various disciplines and teaching backgrounds who have come together to help plan the framework for the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) experience at RP. We work closely with academic staff from all schools and centres in RP to work out effective teaching and learning strategies and provide support in terms of problem-crafting, resources and ongoing workshops.

We also facilitate PBL sessions with students to help them to be self-reflexive and independent learners. We stay up to date with educational reforms and trends by extending our services to schools outside RP and by attending conferences related to pedagogy and education. As a choice training provider and consultant for student-centered learning training, we have worked closely with many local and overseas schools and organizations.
